• What type of media does the iCDX use?

  The iCDX accepts Audio CDs, MP3 CDs, and MP3 DVDs. The iCDX also accepts USB mass storage class devices such as external hard drives and thumb drives. It can also be used as a remote control for the CUE software.

• How do I enable the iCDX as a controller for CUE?

  Enable the iCDX on the Remote Control tab in CUE's config menu. Also, be sure that the iCDX is in HID mode by pressing the SRC button.

• How do I control both decks in CUE using the iCDX?

  Press the eject button on the iCDX to switch control from one deck to another.

• How do I control the crossfader in the CUE software?

  You can control the crossfader in CUE by turning the iCDX's parameter knob from right to left.

• How do I update the OS of my iCDX?

  To update the iCDX
  

  • Download and unzip the operating system update .zip file
  • Burn the .iso file to a CD as a disc image
  • Power up the iCDX while holding the PROG button
  • Insert the OS CD that you just created
  • The iCDX will read the CD for a few seconds then it will eject the CD.  Do not power off the iCDX yet!
  • After the CD is ejected the update process will begin
  • On the display you should see a series of numbers counting up as the update is applied
  • When the update is complete, the display should say NO DISC
